We have started producing an animation series in Kazakhstan called Solar Cats. It will be the first project that fits the international quality of animation for our country

PLOT OF FIVE EPISODES

1 EPISODE: THE CITY DAY

The family of cats is going for a picnic after a long, busy time spent at home. However, a sudden attack of an evil villain mouse, who thrives on sabotaging the City Day festival, becomes an obstacle to the cat family's weekend.

2 EPISODE: A HOMEWORK

Shuaq makes a video essay about her family, but her brother Tumars is not willing to cooperate. Without his presence on the tape, Shuaq's assignment won't be complete on time.

3 EPISODE: AN UNMATCHED PERFORMANCE

Garysh wants to go to a theatre with his family to see a show held only once, "Beybarys." Unfortunately, an evil mole chooses the same day to attack the city. Will our beloved family of cats be on time for the show?

4 EPISODE: THE BROTHERS

Bauyrsaq wants to spend a time with his brother Tumar, but the latter is too busy preparing himself for an important competition.

5 EPISODE: PROFESSION

Worried about her daughter Shuaq's future, Kumis is forcing Shuaq to concentrate on studying math, completely ignorying the daughter's interest in music.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

A family of super-hero cats, with the help of a giant robot, protects their city, Shanyraq, from an evil genius mouse, Sasyq. But only through genuine family bonding will they be able to overcome their enemies.

CHARACTERS

GARYSH

The father of the family. He is kind but won't hesitate to put down his foot immediately. He provides for his family by being a farmer

KUMIS

Kumis is the mother of the family. She is a certified biologist and very into nature. Sometimes, she can be overprotective about her children. She is a core member of the family.

TUMAR

The oldest son can substitute for his father if needed. He does different kinds of sports. Tumar is very lovely but sometimes can't sit still.

SHUAQ

Shuaq is a middle child. A little introvertive, she loves spending time playing music on dombra - kazakh national musical instrument. She is caring about her brothers, quick-witted and decisive person.

BAUYRSAQ

The youngest son. Despite being a prodigy, who outpassed his peers, Bauyrsaq is still an innocent child, dearly loved and protected by his family.

SASYQ

Sasyq is the nemesis of the cats family. His goal is to conquer Shanyraq city and rule it's citizens. Sasyq is unstable, cunning and very dangerous scientist.

WHY WE CHOSE "SOLARPUNK" GENRE?

This genre is devoted to protecting nature. That is why all the main characters are determined to protect what surrounds them at all costs. They maintain a healthy ecological lifestyle using "clean" energy with suitable technologies, including solar batteries, windmills, hydropower, etc.
This way, the "Solar Cats" series is able to show how society could save nature for a future generation.
